Selection Process (Document Screening, Interviews, etc.)
Through submitted documents and interviews, we assess each applicant's purpose for enrollment and Japanese language proficiency. We conduct a selection process that carefully considers each student's future.

Notification of Acceptance
Successful applicants will receive an official certificate of Admission. Details regarding enrollment procedures and future preparations will be provided at the same time.

Visa Application and Preparations for Entrance to Japan
We will apply for a visa based on your certificate of Admission and proceed with preparations for your arrival in Japan. We provide support to ensure a smooth transition, including assistance with daily life and housing arrangements.

Entrance Ceremony and Orientation
We will attend the entrance ceremony with our new classmates. After confirming student life and learning methods during orientation, our study abroad journey begins.

About Admission / Application
- When is the admission period?
- In Ao International School, April intake and October intake are available. There is a limited capacity for application, so please prepare as soon as possible.
- What are the necessary documents for application?
- Necessary documents are mostly Application Form, Graduation Certificate, Copy of Passport, Photo, Letter of Financial Support. They might differ depending on the country and circumstances, so please don’t hesitate to make inquiries.
About School Fee / Student Life
- How much is the school fee?
- School Fee consisted of Admission Fee, Tuition Fee, Materials Fee, Facility Fee, etc. Please refer to “Course / Curriculum” page for yearly detailed information.
- Can the school fee be paid by installment payments?
- Basically, only lump sum payment is accepted. However, students may consult if there are personal circumstances.
- Is Student Dormitory available?
- There are Student Dormitories and apartments we join partnership with. We also support the students for moving in procedures too. For more information, please refer to “School Life” page.
About Study / Support
- How are the lessons carried out?
- Classes are divided into small number of students based on the level of their Japanese language, and they learn Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking (Conversation / Presentation) of Japanese thoroughly. Students can also strengthen practical skills through plenty of chances of communication.
- Is there any preparation classes for JLPT and Further Education?
- Yes. We also do training for JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), and Entrance Examinations such as Interview practice and Short Essay writing.
- Is there any student life support in Japan?
- Yes. Staff will support the students with procedures at city hall, opening a bank account, obtaining a cell phone number, and companion to hospital.
